Been metal detecting about 12 years now. A few may know me by Oldebeechnut, I use to do repairs and Modifications to Minelab Excalibur's. I've been watching this forum for a few years now, for I enjoy seeing different treasures of beach hunters. And I've been Following the evolution of Alexandre Tartar's Manta Project, now known as the Fisher Impulse "AQ". Which I am looking to add to my collection of 4 Excaliburs. I'm Retired and hunt a few days a week for the exercise and Gold.

Hi Joe,
be the welcome on this detection website. Most people there are rather looking for very ancient metal objects an rather few diving or hunting close to the water. Is there any problem with wedding in the Maryland such that every women throw their gold rings into the water!

I hunt the older beach's here in the Chesapeake Bay, Most gold rings I do find have been lost for many years.
